The store has been in business since 1972, first as a Stretch and Sew store, then as an independent fabric store. We changed our name to Sew Amazing in the spring of 2005 to reflect the breadth of fashion fabrics we now carry. We are located in Bloomington, Minnesota, close to the Mall of America.

We have wonderful and unique fabrics to meet all your fashion sewing needs. Our classes, events, and I Love to Sew Clubs provide great ideas to encourage your creativity and develop your sewing skills. Our in store I Love to Sew Club has been meeting for over 30 years, keeping many a sewing enthusiast supplied with creative ideas and tools to complete them. We also teach a variety of sewing classes, including beginning sewing, embroidery, serger classes and more.

We are a Baby Lock dealer and carry a complete line of Baby Lock machines, including sewing machines, sergers, the coverstitch machine, quilting machines, and the Semi-Industrial 6-Needle Embroidery Machine. We invite you to come by the store to learn more about the machines and their many capabilities. Embroidery is everywhere and we are prepared to help you develop the look you want. We have Baby Lock embroidery cards and software, including the Palette, Palette PTS, and Designer's Gallery software, including Masterworks digitizing software, Amazing Designs, and Cactus Punch designs.
