This is the best free show in town! Come see what's new in fall fabrics and looks. Garments are sewn and modeled by the amazing staff of Sew Amazing. This semi-annual show has been a popular event for many years and the seats fill fast, so don't hesitate to call the store to reserve yours. The show lasts about 30-40 minutes. Our I LOVE TO SEW club is a fun class that will give you new fashion ideas, sewing tips and inspiration every month. We have been meeting for over 30 years! Needle felting is a wonderful way to express your creativity and experiment with fiber art. Owners of the Baby Lock embellisher and others are invited to attend this group designed to share ideas and inspiration. This class will explore the details of working with your Master Works digitizing software to turn your artwork into stitch files. We will be learning from DVDs, lessons and each other. Bring your laptop to class with software installed. Class is free to individuals who have purchased their software at Sew Amazing. All others may attend for $10 per session.

Learn basic sewing and machine skills and have fun, too! We will cover sewing safety, care and use of the sewing machine, stitching seams, seam allowances, seam finishes and pressing to complete a pillow case! We recommend our beginning youth students to take this class before registering for any of our other classes. Pick up a supply list upon registration.

This class will cover the basic skills you need for garment sewing. We'll teach you to read a pattern, choose the right fabric, cut out and construct a garment. This class introduces basic skills and machine sewing techniques, as well as constructing a tee shirt to practice these new skills. You'll need a sewing machine in good working order for class. If you do not have a machine, you may reserve a store machine for class. Supply list available at sign up.

Get to Know Your Serger (Serge a Tee Shirt)
Sewing Level - All Teacher - Debbie/Lisa/Kristin
Are you a sewer that only uses the serger to overcast seams? Are you aware of the many techniques a serger can do for you but find it all a little intimidating? Then this class is for you! In two evening sessions you will complete a totally serged tee shirt (hem will be done with regular sewing machine if you do not have a cover stitch). Your shirt will rival ready-to-wear. Sign up now and gain the skills and confidence to use your serger for all your projects. Class is $10.00 with purchase of pattern, fabric, and thread at Sew Amazing. Class is for Baby Lock sergers with jet-air threading!

Machine Instruction
Our pledge: we will teach you to use any machine you purchase from us - if there is not a class on the schedule for your machine, just ask! We will arrange a convenient time for your lesson.
Serger Instruction - Imagine and Imagine Wave Owners__ _Free/$40
Beginner Class Teacher - Lisa
This is an introductory class for new owners who have purchased their Baby Lock Imagine or Imagine Wave (3/4-thread) serger from our store. If you purchased your machine elsewhere, there is a $40 fee for this workshop. Class will cover the basic stitches, threading techniques, and accessories that come with your machine. Bring your machine to class, plus the accessories, foot control, thread and a pair of scissors. Please call to schedule your lesson.
Serger Introduction - Evolve and Evolve Wave Owners Free/$75
Beginner Class Teacher - Lisa
This class is an introductory class for new owners who have purchased their Baby Lock Evolve or Evolve Wave (8-thread) serger from our store. Those who have purchased elsewhere may attend for a $75 fee. This two-part workshop will cover the serging capabilities and cover stitching capabilities of your machine. Bring your machine to class, plus the accessories, foot control, thread, and a pair of scissors. Please call Lisa to schedule your lesson.
Intro to Your Embroidery Machine -Free/$40
Instruction is offered to all Baby Lock embroidery machine owners to get acquainted with your machines. Class will be devoted to the embroidery function of your machine, including hooping techniques, bringing up your designs, and editing functions. Class is free for those who've purchased their embroidery machines from our store.

Tailored Pant Fitting Class $100
Sewing Level - Intermediate Teacher - Laurel
Learn how to fit tailored pants with a zipper made from woven, non stretch fabric in four sessions. In the first hour class you will learn about pant fit, patterns, fabric and basic pant fitting techniques. The next 3 sessions are two hours in length and cover constructing a muslin, fine tuning your muslin and fit critique of final garment. A supply list is available upon registration.
